"reflection" is an artistic short film project that invites viewers to join the thrilling adventures of the Movement Tribe. With a blend of excitement and introspection, the film showcases their passion for the sport.
The film was largely shot at the Portes du Soleil resort during a week-long gathering where we all came together to create this movie under the best possible conditions. Being all in one place enabled us to focus and bring our collective skills to the table, ensuring that the film truly reflects our shared passion and dedication to skiing.
The Tribe
The Tribe has organically evolved as a team, growing in tandem with the brand over time. We take immense pride in the Tribe’s identity —a symbol of harmony and unity. In this film, the genuine spirit of teamwork and collaboration shines through, showcasing the tight-knit bonds that define our Tribe. Witnessing this camaraderie on screen reaffirms our belief that it couldn't have been portrayed any better. The film authentically captures the essence of our team and the values we hold dear, reflecting the journey we've embarked on together, unified by our love for skiing and our shared commitment to pushing boundaries.

Directed and produced by Jacopo Torrione, the film encapsulates the essence of the team's passion for skiing. Jacopo, a film director hailing from the Northern Italian Alps, developed a deep love for skiing from an early age. Growing up surrounded by the breathtaking alpine landscapes, he was profoundly influenced by his father's photography, which sparked his passion for capturing moments on film. Today, Jacopo focuses his talents on the skiing industry, skillfully combining his expertise in filmmaking with his lifelong connection to the slopes, creating visually stunning works that celebrate the thrill and beauty of skiing.
From heart-pounding action sequences to moments of introspection, "reflection" artfully showcases the Tribe's high-flying adventures. The film weaves together stunning cinematography, an evocative soundtrack by Leo Af Ekenstam, and a narrative that subtly explores the reflective nature of skiing. It captures the camaraderie, versatility, and sheer love for the sport shared by the Tribe, transcending the boundaries of a typical action film to become a testament to their journey through skiing.
Movement’s new identity
The idea to create a film centered around reflection not only draws from the various reflective angles highlighted throughout the video but also aims to showcase Movement's new identity, steeped in Swiss style. Beyond the visual play with reflections in the film, it symbolizes a deeper introspection into the essence of Movement. Much like a reflection reveals different perspectives, the film invites viewers to explore the multifaceted nature of Movement's evolution. It mirrors the brand's transformation, embracing Swiss style—a fusion of precision, innovation, and sophistication—as a fundamental aspect of Movement's fresh identity. This title encapsulates both the visual allure of the film and the essence of Movement's redefined ethos.
In August, we unveiled our new identity—a defining moment that fills us with immense pride as we showcase it through this film. It's a culmination of meticulous planning, creative vision, and an unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of our evolved brand. This movie serves as a canvas, allowing us to vividly portray the very fabric of our refreshed identity to the world.
