This innovative hybrid collection is part of our new freeski program, which is divided into three categories:

Made with premium flax fibers, this series embodies the pinnacle of engineering while respecting the environment.
For the first time at Movement, flax fiber has been integrated into a ski collection. This new line embodies sustainable innovation by incorporating ampliTex™ technology, a flax fiber-based reinforcement material developed by the Swiss company Bcomp. Flax, a natural fiber with exceptional mechanical properties, is at the heart of ampliTex™ technology, which combines lightweight, rigidity, and low environmental impact. Thanks to its optimized weaves, this technology not only offers excellent vibration absorption for a smoother and more comfortable ride but also high resistance, ideal for tackling the most demanding conditions on the slopes.
The choice of flax is not incidental. It is a renewable resource that, in addition to reducing the carbon footprint of our skis, provides unique aesthetic and technical benefits. Our commitment to sustainability and innovation is reflected in this new ski series, which combines performance, comfort, and respect for nature.
Flax is a native European plant cultivated for millennia. Highly resilient, it requires little water, nutrients, and almost no pesticides or fertilizers to thrive. Additionally, as a rotation crop, it improves soil quality and existing crop yields. After harvest, the entire plant is used – from the straw for mulching or heating to the seeds for animal feed or oils, to the fibers for home textiles, clothing, and composite materials.
Designed in Switzerland – grown and produced in Europe – the ampliTex™ flax fabrics from Bcomp are CO2 neutral, and the fibers themselves are biologically decomposable. With their excellent mechanical properties and vibration absorption, these fibers are perfect as a natural reinforcement for various materials.
