Movement Skis 2010 / 2011
Categories Overview
// FREESKI
We have added a new ski, the ZIP, to this already abundant category. With its 80mm waist, this newcomer is positioned between the YAKA and the JAM. This category reflects the current market demand, with three skis oriented on-piste and four models that cover the mid-fat & fat line. Each of our skis has a logical position in the product range and is clearly differentiated for the final customer.
// GIRLS
This category consists of four skis specially-developed for women. The GLOSS (on-piste oriented) and the TATOO (fat for freeride/freeski) are new models in the Women’s Freeski Group. All models in this line have improved weights and skiing characteristics. Our goal is light, fun, and lively, to offer women skis with the sweetest ski performance that are built for pure enjoyment.
// ADVENTURE
A new trend in skiing is introduced to our product range:Out of Bounds. It’s for the many skiers looking for something different, an alternative, seeking an exit from the piste. Skiers that need one versatile board that can handle powder, steeps, windblown, is light for touring to make turns, and, for those who prefer to bend a knee, can be mounted telemark. Light, round-flexing, and solid, these skis are the ultimate in a versatile platform to perform with the utmost confidence in out-of-bounds conditions. The mid-fat skis are superb for modern turn-oriented touring, off-piste, and more aggressive telemarking. The Adventure skis can be mounted with your binding system of choice for that adventure away from the boundaries.
// X-SERIES
The touring category is the spearhead of our brand. With innovation and new technology, this line perfectly represents our goals. For the first time ever, a revolutionary construction has been developed for the new FISH and two other skis (RANDOM and LOGIC) of the program: Createx inside with intelligent carbon and fibreglass (see technology description).
// TOURING
The Mountain is one of the most beautiful things on our earth. We like discovering it and sharing its serenity. Movement Skis is always looking for the best compromise in the development of high altitude skiing. We are also delighted to add two new woman’s skis to the touring programme. No less than seven models cover now the needs of this technically-demanding category.
// FREESTYLE
The 10/11 Freestyle programme has four specific models as well as two junior & children skis. Our FLY SWATTER has had huge success, as did our new EL LOCO. The SIGNATURE and the BAGGY are two established models that have improved weights and flex (softer but more responsive).
